Poles should be inspected for deterioration, splinters, or hazards before climbing . Personnel should avoid standing under cables under tension and maintain clear paths for safety .

Cable Types and Placement

  • ADSS cables can be installed near power lines in the power space by qualified personnel, while other aerial cables must be installed in the telecom space with proper clearance from electrical lines .

  • Polyethylene jackets with carbon black are recommended for UV protection .

Installation Methods
